“Vasant Panchmi” is an occasion which marks the advent of the spring season and is also celebrated to worship Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom. Our little Goenkans celebrated the day with great fervour and enthusiasm. ‘Yellow colour’ – representative of spiritual knowledge, is given importance on Vasant panchmi. Pre – primary wing came dressed up in yellow colour attire, offered yellow colored flowers to the Goddess and also brought yellow colored food. They all assembled together to pray and attain blessings from Goddess Saraswati to reach the epitome of knowledge. The assembly started with a beautiful Saraswati vandana, followed by dance performance on basant song. They were discussed about the relevance of the day by our Respected Principal Ma’am- Ms. Vandana Midha. The children enjoyed the day, enlightened by the blessings of Maa Saraswati.
