For the past 15 years, G D Goenka has been an integral part of the Indo-German Exchange Programme. We uphold the Indian ethos of 'Atithi Devo Bhava' by warmly welcoming our German counterparts and engaging in numerous collaborative projects that have strengthened our bond with partner schools.
Through panel discussions, interactive group activities, and cultural immersion, our students have gained an invaluable global platform to express themselves.
The Indo-German Students' Exchange Programme was initiated by Dr. Juliana from Goethe Institute/Max Mueller Bhavan, New Delhi. She played a pivotal role in linking our school with Gymnasium Bayreuther Straβe School in Wuppertal, Germany.
The vision of Late Mr. Detlef Appenzeller, then Principal of Gymnasium Bayreuther Straβe, was instrumental in making this exchange programme a success. He firmly believed that such an initiative would bring about a transformative change in the perceptions of students and educators from both India and Germany.
